Lilly Christine: vintage 8x10 I was recently asked if Lilly Christine was the inspiration for Jessica Rabbit of the cartoon movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It is most widely believed that the character was based on Veronica Lake (especially the hair!) and the mannerisms of Lauren Bacall. However, I did read once - and of course I can not find the article now - that the artist was also inspired by photos he saw of Lilly Christine. Looking at this particular image of Lilly, it is not difficult to see that she may indeed has been a partial inspiration for Jessica Rabbit.
